My trips to the Netherlands are mostly for music festivals. Every time I visit, whether in Amsterdam or Utrecht, I feel a calm, slow energy in these cities. As is famously known, the infrastructure is designed with cyclists in mind. The blend of modern skyscrapers and traditional buildings gives these cities a unique character. The combination of orange-red bricks, blue ones, and the heavy, gloomy skies made my composition choices clear. There are plenty of leading lines to follow and beautiful landmarks to capture.
