A Very Northern France…

Paris, located farther to the north, has shorter departures to the northern side of France. Each region has a poetic charm of its own. Over the years, I have visited a few villages with eye-catching landscapes that I couldn’t help but share with you…

Chantilly, known for its gastronomic cream, turned out to be not the only treat provided by the village. The very picturesque frame the village has sheds an astonishing bounce in time, as if you were projected into a painting. The combination of light and shadows, the reflection on the water, and the greenery set an inevitably romantic mood for the photos.

A bit further to the north, you can find a marvelous cliff of clay and grass under a wide blue sky. The vastness of Cap-Nez-Blanc (the French Cornwall) and its everlasting pasture pushed me to keep on capturing its beauty. The transition from blue to green is smoothly done by Mother Nature.

And finally, more to the west, hop on one of the oldest trains and cross the fields to visit Noyelle-sur-Mer. Meet friendly cows as the field is their own playground. The composition of the fauna and flora under July’s sun, behind old fences, composed a perfect frame for a series of photographs
